How to vote in Ward 10 Spadina-Fort York

Check that you're on the voters' list
Use MyVote at toronto.ca/myvote to confirm your registration, your ward, and your voting locations. If you're not on the list, you can still add or update your information, including right at the polls on election day.
Confirm you're eligible
You can vote in Toronto if you are a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old on election day, and either live in Toronto or own or rent property here (or your spouse does), and you are not prohibited from voting by law.
Bring acceptable ID
You need one piece of ID showing your name and Toronto address, for example an Ontario driver's licence, utility bill, lease, bank statement, T4, or a letter from a shelter or long-term care home. A health card alone is not accepted.
Vote early or on election day
Advance voting runs for several days ahead of election day at designated locations across the city, and any Toronto advance poll is open to Ward 10 residents. On election day you must vote at your assigned polling station.
Mark your ballot
You'll receive a ballot for Mayor and for City Councillor in Ward 10 Spadina-Fort York. Fill in the oval beside one name in each race completely, then feed the ballot into the tabulator.

When is election day?
Monday, October 26, 2026. Polls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you are in line at 8 p.m., you can still vote.
Where is my polling station?
Enter your address at toronto.ca/myvote. It shows your election day poll, your advance voting locations, and the candidates on your ballot. Your voter information card also lists your poll.
Can I vote by mail?
The City of Toronto offers a mail-in voting option that must be applied for in advance of the deadline set by the City Clerk. Apply early, mailed ballots must be received back before the close of polls.
Can I get time off work to vote?
Yes. Ontario law entitles eligible voters to three consecutive hours to vote while polls are open. Your employer chooses when in the day those hours fall, and cannot deduct pay for them.
I moved recently, can I still vote?
Vote in the ward where you now live, as long as you live there on election day. Update your address through MyVote or at the poll with ID showing your new Toronto address.
Do I need my voter information card?
It speeds things up, but it's not required. Acceptable ID with your name and Toronto address is what matters.
Can I vote if I rent, or if I'm a student?
