Accessibility
Accessibility Statement
Accessibility is part of what this campaign is running on, so it has to be true of the campaign itself. This site is built to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
What We Do
How this site is built.
- Text and background colours are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios, with a darker red reserved for small text.
- A skip-to-content link is the first thing a keyboard or screen reader user reaches.
- Every interactive element has a visible focus ring and works without a mouse.
- Every form field has a real, visible label, and status messages are announced to screen readers.
- Every image has descriptive alternative text, and icon-only buttons carry accessible names.
- Headings run in order so the page can be navigated by structure.
- Pages are responsive and readable at 200 percent zoom on phones, tablets and desktops.
Still Improving
Where we know there is work left.
Some media we link to, including news interviews and third-party video, is hosted by outlets we do not control, so captions and transcripts vary. Our volunteer sign-up form is hosted on Google Forms. If any of that blocks you, contact us and we will take your information directly.
Contact
Tell us if something does not work.
Email info@voteforaanchal.ca with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within five business days, and we will provide the information you needed in another format in the meantime.
